Colaa aka Sydney Jackson’s highly anticipated single "Came To Get Rich" hit the digital music streams on December 9th and has been trending upward ever since. Maryland’s own newest rapper and 4ever Young Music Group’s newest artist, Colaa, is no stranger to entertainment and music. Growing up, she played guitar and wrote songs starting at an early age. Her music strives to empower young women and encourage them to reach their full potential without boundaries.
"Colaa believes in young women paving their path and making way for themselves."
Colaa is an American beauty queen, model, actress, and rapper based in Maryland. She attended elite private schools in Washington, D.C., and developed a passion for writing, journalism, and performing arts. As a hip-hop artist and songwriter, she aligns her artistry with Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, and Eve while actively creating her sound. The former pageant queen and red-carpet correspondent embraces her true talent and passion then makes a dynamic jump into the music industry with her new single.
"Came To Get Rich" encompasses Colaa's passion for music and becoming a mainstream artist. This release promises to deliver an authentic "Hip-Hop Experience," which includes a sound and lyrics for young women chasing their dreams, passions and are focused on making money for themselves.
While listening to Hip-Hop, Colaa seldom relates to any of the rap songs she hears on the radio. Realizing this, Colaa wanted to focus on topics related to her, such as money and other material things, but differently from your traditional hip-hop female artist. Newly signed to 4ever Young Music Group, she aims to engage her listeners and fans in a positive hip-hop experience that will inspire and motivate young women and upcoming artists alike. Make sure you add "Came To Get Rich" to your favorite playlist. Also, connect with Colaa on social media and digital music platforms.
