Deebzlenuz also known as Dominic O. Lee is an ambitious up and coming artist with a voice that transcends genres and calls to the future. Influenced by Bob Marley, Gregory Isaac, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, and Bounty Killer his music represents the beat of his heart, the race of his pulse, his life. In short, Deebzlenuz is a force to be reckoned with.
Deebzlenuz was born on the small Caribbean Island of Montserrat located near to Antigua and Barbuda. He grew up in the West Indies and was inspired by the emerging West African, Calypso, Soca and Reggae sound. "Music was our lives," he says, "it represented our thoughts and gave us a voice in the community to express ourselves." At a young age he determined that he would take music to a level it has never been taken before.
After he wrote his first song his life changed forever; he has written and recorded over three hundred songs to date. Many of Deebzlenuz days and nights are spent in the studio perfecting his craft. Deebzlenuz was awarded the Holla Back Music Video Awards Reggae Artist of the year 2007 held in the state of Connecticut. Winning this award only helped to further confirm that the long hours spent in the studio were paying off.
Deebzlenuz performed at places such as the Colombian festival in Norwalk Connecticut, and the Puerto Rican parade in New York City. He also performed at club Rhythm, Enigma, Snookers, Tuxedo Junction, Emerald Lounge, The Palms, Thirsty Turtles, Club Lo, and many other clubs threw out the tri state area. Deebzlenuz has completed three projects to date, His mix tape "My Feelings,” and "Yard & Foreign," and his album "Outta Mi Soul".
