Mary J. Blige's financial woes have QUADRUPLED -- on top of the $900k she allegedly owes the Garden State, TMZ has learned MJB has been slapped with a $3.4 MILLION bill from Uncle Sam.
The IRS filed a federal tax lien against the Grammy winner, claiming she failed to pay all her income taxes for the years 2009 ($574,907.30), 2010 ($2,203,743.53) and 2011 ($647,604.60).
Tax bill grand total: $3,426,255.43. Translation: A LOT OF FREAKING MONEY.
Of course, the IRS needs to get in line ... the State of NJ says MJB still owes $901,769.65 in back taxes. Blige is being sued for allegedly defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan and her charity is facing a lawsuit that claims it took out a $250k loan and never paid it back.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- AEG Live filed an insurance claim to recover losses from Michael Jackson's death the same day he died, according to a lawyer for Jackson's family.
That revelation may not relate to the heart of the wrongful death lawsuit against Michael Jackson's last concert promoter, but Jackson lawyers hope it could sway jurors to see AEG Live executives as motivated by money over the pop icon's needs.
It is one of many points Jackson lawyers will try to make Monday when they call AEG Live's top lawyer to the witness stand as the trial's fourth week begins in a Los Angeles courtroom.
Jackson's mother and three children contend AEG Live is liable in the singer's death because its executives negligently hired, retained or supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter

NEW HAVEN - Bishop Vincent Smith of the Morning Star Church on Dixwell Avenue beamed as he watched the Freddie Fixer Parade march by Sunday, a display of community pride he has seen many time over his years growing up in the city.
“It’s a great day,” said Smith, who was with his wife, church First Lady Yvette Smith, and others for the parade.
Smith estimated he started attending the parade when he was about 5. He said he hopes the parade next year can be bigger and better and concentrate even more on its original intent: community clean-up.
