Tatum plays Capitol Policeman John Cale in Emmerich's ("Independence Day") latest explosion-fest. Cale -- who has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service -- is on a White House tour with his daughter when 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is attacked by a heavily-strapped paramilitary group. To ensure that the government isn't destroyed from the inside-out, Cale takes the country's -- and the President's (Jamie Foxx) -- safety into his own hands.
