WHAT: The City of New Haven (www.infonewhaven.com) will kick off another festive holiday season thursday evening with its annual tree lighting ceremony on the historic New Haven Green. Thursday event includes activities for the entire family, including a petting zoo, crafts, a ferris wheel, choral music and, of course, an appearance by Santa! All that plus the tree-lighting itself.
