I hope this note finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of the Committee of the Proprietors of the New Haven Green to share an exciting announcement for this July.
- I am happy to introduce The Free Lunchtime Concert Series — three consecutive Fridays of free, live outdoor performances right by the fountain on the lower Green, presented in partnership with the Committee of the Proprietors of the New Haven Green, Morse Summer Music Academy, and the Music in Schools Initiative.
Here is a quick look at what is coming:
· Friday, July 10 — Brass
· Friday, July 17 — Woodwinds
· Friday, July 24 — Percussion & Choir
All performances begin at 1:00 PM near the fountain on the lower New Haven Green and are completely free and open to the public. This series features conductors Mr. Ethan Wood, Mr. Yuki Mori, and Mr. Bryan Carrera, with student performers representing 23 New Haven Public Schools through the Music in Schools Initiative.
