MAYOR HARP TO PRESIDE AT GRAND OPENING OF HOPE FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER MONDAY AT 1:00
New Haven – Mayor Toni N. Harp will preside Monday afternoon at the grand opening of the HOPE Family Justice Center, a one-stop, comprehensive clearinghouse for those affected by domestic violence.
A ceremonial ribbon-cutting is planned at 142 Temple Street in New Haven; the program is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
Efforts by Mayor Harp, New Haven police officials, non-profit providers, and other partners to address domestic violence in the city complement community-based policing, ShotSpotter, body-worn police cameras, other technology, YouthStat, and other innovative programs to effectively combat violent crime in New Haven.
