MAYOR HARP TO DESCRIBE DETAILS RE: THIS YEAR’S FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL & DRAGON BOAT REGATTA
New Haven – Mayor Toni N. Harp will join eventorganizers at Long Wharf tomorrow to describe specifics about the upcoming New Haven Food Truck Festival and Dragon Boat Regatta.Tomorrow’s announcement is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. at 351 Long Wharf Drive in New Haven.
Set to include a guided walk-through of New Haven’s acclaimed Food Truck Paradise.
The New Haven Food Truck Festival and Dragon Boat Regatta is held each year in June; last year’s festival drew more 10,000 people and raised approximately $10,000 for the CT Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP). The Dragon Boat races are especially interesting: teams in 41-foot Dragon Boats compete in a series of sprints just offshore.
