Entertainment.Poetry for food Published: Friday, October 15, 2010 0diggsdigg ShareThis0 WEST HAVEN — Poet Tony Fusco will read works of poetry at an event to benefit the West Haven food bank W.H.E.A.T. at KCK Gallery, 397 Campbell Ave. in West Haven today at 6 p.m. KCK Gallery and The Connecticut Poetry Society is sponsoring the reading, called “Poetry for Food.” Donations will benefit the W.H.E.A.T., West Haven Emergency Assistance Taskforce (food bank). There will be a reception with refreshments from 6 to 7 p.m., the poetry readings will start at 7 p.m. and run through 9 p.m. Poets from the Connecticut Poetry Society, including Tony Fusco, will read followed by an open microphone if time permits. KCK Gallery is located at 397 Campbell Ave. in downtown West Haven across the street from Walgreens. This event is free although donation checks made out to W.H.E.A.T. will be accepted.
