CITY OFFICIALS SAY CHURCH STREET SOUTH HOUSING DEMOLITION TO BEGIN MONDAY
New Haven – Demolition of the former Church Street South Housing Complex is set to begin Monday morning, June 25. Mayor Harp, Building Official Jim Turcio, and other city officials will be on hand as the first use of heavy equipment begins to bring down the now-vacant, gutted buildings. at 9:00 a.m. Monday
Over the next eight to 12 months the parcel will be cleared and cleaned, allowing Mayor Harp and other city officials to continue working toward its redevelopment.
